Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

This policy explains what information COIT24/7 ("we", "us") collects when you use coit247.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have written it to describe what our website actually does rather than to cover every hypothetical.

Information you give us

We only collect information you actively submit. There is no account system and no login.

Contact form: your name, email address, subject, message, and optionally your company name.

Business Insight Report: the website address you enter, plus a record of the consent checkboxes you ticked and when you ticked them.

Business Insight Report PDF (optional): if you choose to download the PDF, we ask for your name, work email, company, job title, and any notes you add. These are never required to view your results on the page.

Information collected automatically

A shortened version of your IP address. We discard the final portion before storing it, so it cannot be traced back to a single device.

Your browser's user-agent string, kept alongside audit requests to help us diagnose failures.

With your consent only: Google Analytics 4 page views and interaction events. If you decline the cookie banner, the analytics script is never loaded.

Stored on your device

We use your browser's local storage rather than tracking cookies. Two values are stored:

Your accept or decline choice for analytics, so we stop asking.

A flag recording that you have used your one complimentary Business Insight Report, along with the domain and time.

Clearing your browser's site data for coit247.com removes both.

What we do with your website address

When you request a Business Insight Report, we fetch the publicly visible content of the homepage you submit — the same content any visitor or search engine can see. We do not attempt to access private areas, log in, or bypass any restriction.

That public content is then sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which generates the analysis you see. The report is produced automatically by AI and is informational only.

We store the request, the scraped public content, and the generated report so we can show you your results, regenerate the PDF, and improve the tool.

How we use your information

To reply to your enquiry or deliver the report you requested.

To follow up about your project, but only if you gave us your contact details.

To understand which pages are useful, in aggregate, where you consented to analytics.

To detect abuse of our forms and keep the free tool available.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers we rely on

These providers process limited data strictly to deliver our website and tools:

Anthropic — AI analysis of the public homepage content you submit.

Google Firebase (Firestore) — storage of audit requests and report records.

Google Analytics 4 — website analytics, loaded only after you accept.

Google reCAPTCHA — spam and bot protection on the contact form.

Google Fonts — delivery of the fonts used on this site.

Microsoft Bookings — scheduling if you book a discovery call.

Our email provider — delivery of contact-form messages to our inbox.

How long we keep it

Contact enquiries are retained while we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. Business Insight Report records are retained so we can support and improve the tool.

You can ask us to delete anything you have submitted at any time and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices and rights

Decline analytics at any time using the cookie banner, or by clearing site data for coit247.com.

Ask us what information we hold about you.

Ask us to correct or delete it.

Withdraw consent you previously gave.

Email contact@coit247.com to make any of these requests. We do not require you to use a particular form.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold, including transport encryption and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than applied silently.
